Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! My place is clean! And there is much joy!!!! *prances around flat not tripping on things because things are not there to trip on!*
Oh look at the kitchen! And observe the lack of dirty dishes!
Peek into the bathroom, there is no litter on the floooooooor!
Observe the delightful bedroom, where the bed is made and the sheets are fresh and there are no towels hanging from the doooooor!
I wish I could elongate my arms and ensnare my entire flat into a giant bear hug. It's so pretty and clean and SHINY!!
*bounce* *bounce* *bounce*
I doubt that she would accept it, but I am seriously considering proposing to Maribel!
And um, how is it October? I know the passing of time continues to flummox me, but I mean, how? when? where? It was just FEBRUARY!
Sarah's birthday last night was fun! Everything worked out, and mad props to Firefly in Queen Anne for fabulous food and accommodating service. I think Sarah was just relieved that I didn't stand up and blare Happy Birthday TO YOUUUUUUUU at her in the restaurant, though we (and by we, I mean ME) were pretty loud. Après le diner, nous venons aller au cinema.
I'll post my review of Serenity later (when I'm less hyper and more lucid), but we managed to get decent seats and I managed to not pass out while driving Emily home. Because, omg tired.
And then there was sleep. Blissful, joyful, uninterrupted sleep. I woke up early, shuffled the rest of Sarah's things into the hallway, which she kindly came over to pick up. I had a very squeee-inducing phone conversation with
dtaylor to plan my visit for tomorrow. And then I started cleaning my bedroom, organizing the crap on my desk, and doing laundry while pretending that the kitchen didn't exist.
And I bought light bulbs, so there is light. In the living room, the bedroom, and I even managed to repair my stupid side-table lamp. AND I bought volume 3 of both Fables and Y: The Last Man. Though it looked like they were out of Y, and there was the beginning of a Y-ine (*kneeslap*), but then Scott, the very cool guy from Arcane Comics said he knew he had one tucked away for me. And I refrained from tackling him, because he had a cold and I did not want his cooties. And I even went to JoAnn Crafts to buy magnets to make magnets out of all the pins and shit I got from ComicCon because I don't have any use for pins, but dear god I need refrigerator magnets.
So um. Yeah! Yay! I'm also done backing up my damn files from this PC and will soon know the cleaning happiness of a reformat/reinstall. Party!
I love this weekend!
