He's been a recurring character on Stargate:Atlantis. Playing, well, Skinner. (I would have loved for some X-Files character to yell, "SKINNER!")
(Not that, uh, I'm a big dork and watch Stargate:Atlantis because it's between SG-1 and Battlestar Galactica. Now you'll excuse me I need to go put my Spider-Man Underoos on)
Hee. Sorry. He's on tonight's episode of The West Wing. A fact which I didn't make very clear as I was busy mentally rubbing his bald head and cooing at him.
Ooh, I miss Skinner and that marvelous bald head of his. West Wing brought back Lyta, too (from Babylon 5) - and she's a redheaded agent-ish person! Skinner should go tell her what to do, just for old times' sake.
(I haven't been watching since the move to Sunday, but she was there last season.)
This season's been very good so far. I never watched Babylon 5, so I don't know who Lyta is, but I love seeing character actors I know crop up on my favorite shows :)
Yeah, I kind of miss Skinner, too ... & Scully. My interest in X-Files kind of trailed off after "Full Disclosure" (when they killed off all of the old conspirators--I was like: "Oh, OK, we're done now, huh?"
I didn't end up watching the last season. But I have to admit, I mostly enjoyed the standalone episodes, and the greater conspiracy never did it for me.
Yeah, it became far too byzantine, after awhile. I think that by the time they did "Full Disclosure" (actually, the autumn after the X-Files movie came out), I was looking for a convenient exit point.
(Sorry: The icon strikes the wrong note, but I was looking for something w/ Scully ...)
The movie was between season 4 and 5, right? I did love season 7 though, which had some of the funnier standalone episodes. I think it's one of my favorite seasons.
