a swiftly tilting planet
Oct. 24th, 2005 10:31 pmI'd just about finished charging around Greenlake. I was happily out of breath, because nothing distracts quite so much as working yourself into hypoxia. I was startled when my cell phone, clasped sweatily in my hand for the past 45 minutes, started to vibrate. It was too dark to read the display, particularly without my glasses. I yanked my earphones out, flipped the phone open, and blurted, "ALLISON?"
It was Allison. She told me simply that my offering bid for the condo had been accepted. I walked over to the nearest tree to lean while she went over the rest of the details, because I just couldn't quite believe it.
More details later. But um. Yeah.
Mine.
