kittens without mittens
Nov. 28th, 2005 12:33 pmSo I made that poll thing and I asked for your good opinion, and now I'm not going to take it (well, the majority opinion that is).
The more people voted on the all-orange bag, the sadder I got. Because apparently the tri-colored bag is my One True Love. So weird. I was really ambivalent when I posted that thing. Huh. But not anymore!
Of course I left my GC at home, so I'll order it tonight. I can't wait to have it! So tired of juggling manuals that don't fit in my handbag!
Anyhow, last night - sleep and me? Not so much. I think I just couldn't let go of this wonderful long weekend! So I finally crawled into bed at 2 and I'm doing okay so far, but I'm very glad I don't have a busy night (or week) ahead of me. I do need to stop by Jeanne's to give her the last piece of the carrot cake cheesecake (though I wish I'd taken better care of it, it's a bit dried out now *frown*). And then I want to stop by Big 5 and just buy the damn free-weights already. It's just hard to get to the gym 3x a week for weightlifting and I'll do this if I've got the equipment at home.
It was chilly out there today! There was frost all over the grass and powder on rooftops. I'm finally remembering to dress warmly before I leave the house, and can thus avoid the frantic juggling of things and hurling on of jackets and scarves.
I definitely need to bust out the flannel sheets and warm blanket to bolster up my bedding.
Memo to self: stop mourning the loss of yet another mitten and buy some new ones because it's fucking cold out there and we don't need our fingers to fall off. Okay?
