God. There isn't a time I watch this mini series that I don't completely understand why it was such a raging hit (or need to dive fully clothed into a pond or something to cool down).

Watching Lizzie and Mr. Darcy all but panting at each other on disc two is just about more than I can bear.

God Bingly's sisters are a pair of harpies. *hiss*

Almost finished and then I swear to god I'm going to bed early and spending tomorrow scouring the flat clean and reformatting my goddamn pc which has been having one hissy fit after another for months.

I should watch that again. I don't know why the hell I like the BBC version so much. I just like that Darcy. Colin Firth doesn't seem... Darcy enough. He's too Colin Firth-y. Or something.

*makes sense*

Oh but it's his Colin Firth-y-ness that makes that series so fucking orgasmic. For um. Me. At least. Rowr. I can't think of anything else I watch with such slack-jawed, drooling excitement. For god's sake I practically hump the television. Erp. It's late. And um I need to stop declaring my ardor, so rapidly must move on...

I think you should try it again, and I still need to watch the version you love so much. Laurence Olivier, yes?

Keep in mind though that Jane is still horse-faced and not the stunning, drop-dead beauty they keep insisting she is. And Lizzie's breasts should have their own separate billing. Cause? God Damn. It's as bad as freaking Daredevil (*does hand gestures unaware of camera*)
