short update

verbicideBack, still hurting, but much less so. Regardless, ready to be back to my regular nimble self.
Cold, somehow suddenly happened night before last. Very, very angry about this. Have to go to work regardless because omg so much work.
But, am lucky because it could be a much worse cold than it is. Just congested and cough-y and annoyed.
Dad, flying in tonight! Can't wait to show him the place. Doing a quick clean-up of home this morning. Feel bad that am sick, because wish to be good hostess. But it's my dad, who will understand.
Still haven't made it to store for cable piece, which means must compute standing up. Which back is very much NOT okay with. Reading Friend's List but not able to respond much, except briefly. But am reading and love you all and wish you all good things in your lives. Can't read from work these days, because too damn busy.
Oh! Also, had dinner with Jeanne last night. Just felt sick and miserable and really didn't want to come home and eat alone. So I called her (and sounded as sad as I felt) so she picked me up and we went to Palomino where we had the best vanilla crème brulee known to man. Omg it was good. But I need to stop eating so goddamn much. Begged Jeanne to be my swim partner, and hopefully that will start soon.
Very Soon. Because I really need some exercise that isn't crouching down to paint trim or lugging boxes around.
AND SARAH IS COMING BACK ON FRIDAY!! *jubilant*
