So. Incredibly. Tired.
One of those days where I actually kept falling asleep at my desk. Which sucked, because I had so much to do. I would snap out of it, churn through the pile. I wish I could put a freeze on new projects for me. Just for a week. It seems like new things come in every day. I'm starting to feel numb about them. Like, oh, here's another one I don't know how to do. Ok. Will deal with it when I can, can't do anything about it now.
But I love the condo association, they sent out an email explaining where the problem was and how it has already been fixed. Nice to see that $210 is buying me the peace of mind I hoped it would.
Today officially commences JEFF THE MAGNIFICENT'S BIRTHDAY WEEK!
To start the day's festivities, I gave up lunch in the cafe (where they were serving their spectacular meatloaf) to go with Jeff to the post office, where the postal employee was frightening. I hid behind Jeff and tugged and pushed him out of there as quickly as possible. We then grabbed some lunch before heading back to work.
After work, I met Jeanne to go shopping for Jeff's birthday present. Which I will not list here just in case. But I am very excited about it and hope he likes it. Which he better.
I have another birthday-related errand to run tomorrow night before the Great and Glorious Day that is Wednesday. Also known as The Day of His Magnificent Birth. I have... plans.
Muhahahaha!
Okay, granted, I'm a little punchy tonight--yay sleep deprivation. But I'm so very glad Jeff was born. And if I may be sincere, I think it's a privledge to know him, let alone have him as one of my very best friends. I love him a great, great deal. Which may not have been obvious for I am subtle.
And now. *spin* *spin* *thud*

Date: 2006-01-24 04:42 am (UTC)Heh - someone suggested that the 6 days of celebration surrounding my birthday be designated "Benzaa." I don't really know what that's supposed to mean. But I do enjoy the idea of a formal season of celebration of my nativity. It just reinforces my God complex.

Jeffmas!!!!
Or, for an Eastern spin, Jeffmadan.
God. He'd be so utterly horrified. Which is the whole point. It may be his birthday, but I don't see why I shouldn't have some fun, too.
