So current obsession is Clive Owens. He joins the auspicious ranks of Bruce Campbell, Matt Mconcancanghey, and Colin Firth. I think I've watched Gosford Park about 90000 times this past week and am planning on buying the DVD and yes, quite possibly, the Script Book. I think it'd be interesting to have been a rich white person back in Edwardian England. Though I spose historically it's never been a bad time to be a rich white person. Naturally, I'd need the accompanying lack of social give-a-damn-ness about the 'have nots.'

Ok, back to Clive. I did first notice him in Gosford Park and vaguely lusted after him. But I didn't become obsessed then. Loved the movie. But it was relatively recently I was watching it again. And became massively obsessed. Maybe it's fallout from all the inundation of Beyond Borders ads, which now I feel compelled to see, if only to gaze, open mouthed at Clive in a wet clinging button down shirt, an opportunity not afforded us in Gosford Park.

So in pursuit of All Things Clive, I discovered the BMW movies (which I think I was the last person on the planet to discover, but if not --here's a link: http://www.bmwfilms.com) and downloaded them all in a gluttonous orgy of high speed glee. Does that sentence make sense? Does it matter? Thought not.

When I'm not re-watching Gosford Park, I'm rewatching The Hire movies. Damn. The man can brood. *purrr*

The true test will be when the next Bridget Jones movie comes out. Will Colin reclaim his position? (ooo position, kinky). Or will Clive stay ahead? I know I'm on the edge of my seat.
