gloves!!

So Jeanne made Judy these amazing fingerless gloves, that have a on/off mitten part that you can button to the back of your hand. Somewhat greedily, when I saw them, I shrieked to Jeanne that I wanted some. And because she's wonderful, she made me a pair. But then I decided, I would never use the mitten part, so she gave them to me as fingerless gloves.

I got them tonight! I love them!!



My hands will be cold no longer!

Ohhh! So neat! Any chance your friend Jeanne would take orders? Dh needs those, w/ the mitten part, for fifing in the cold w/ the reenactors, and hasn't been able to find and buy a pair because he has The Giant Hands.

Hee! I can ask. But she had me try mine on repeatedly to make sure they were the right size, so I'm not sure how she'd do that with Dh!

As I stood huddled in a the shadows of the wind-break corner, I managed to get the cigarette lit. The back of the office building is still dark at ten o'clock theses days in the Midwest but it's the perfect place for a politically incorrect smoker such as myself. The wind changed direction and I duly rotated, using my back as a shield. I shifted my hands, the warm pocketed one for the blue one holding the filtered Camel. There was a slight hint in the sky that said Spring is on the way.

I thought, "I hope Verbicide is keeping warm tonight."
