verbicideThe Colbert Report doesn't always hit a home run for me. I love Stephen Colbert, I love his dead-pan manner, and I love it even more when he smiles ever-so-impishly. But the show doesn't always do it. Which is fine, unlike The Daily Show, it's still new and working out the kinks. Also, I think it has a harder structure with its brand of satire.
However, watching Colbert go tête-à-tête with Al Franken was fucking hilarious. They played off each other so damn well. I loved it. More! More!
