The Good: My lovely French teacher is back from France and we have a lesson, chez moi, today.
The Bad: I left my French book at work and would go get it except...
The Ugly: I need to run around here cleaning in 300° heat

Feh!

Maybe if I finish early, I can dart off to work. As an added bonus, the AC'd car ride would be a joy. If not, she'll have her book and life will not end.

Also, must MUST MUST MUST drag sliding-door screen up from the garage and install it maintenant! This would keep the bugs out, and the plant-eating-and-barfing cat inside!

I have two hours! Must go clean!

Haha - my friend, Sam, is moving from Davis, California, to Portland this weekend. She updated in a break from packing, and I complained that it's 95 here. Apparently, it's 105 there! So it could be worse...

Heat sucks...and the genius dog is outside laying in the sun...when we've kindly set up the fan to include her pillow. She was so hot last night she fell asleep lying and panting on me...oh joy.

Silly animals. Poor Hobbes is just sprawled out on whatever bits of tile he can find. I can't stop sweating --and showering is great, except for the part where you come out of the shower.

MEH.

And I'm done with cleaning, hurray!! I just need to grab the sliding glass door. I'm not overly delighted with the concept of putting on respectable clothing, though.

My outfit du jour is t-shirt and underwear. Murphy is smarter than Martin...who has decided that we must have the carpet in the bedroom removed...today. Showers are very good!
