I have the largest collection of crackers known to man. All kinds. Buried in the cupboard from every party I've ever thrown. Wasa, Akmak, wheat thins, Bretons, Keebler. You name it.
This, of course, means that you are now obligated to buy lots and lots of cheese to offset the cracker-y goodness. Otherwise the house will go into imbalance from the overabundance of anti-cheese. *nods solemnly*
Of course it could just be that my logic has a fondness for cheese, and any excuse is a good excuse... ^_~

You know, you could use them to make your own breadcrumbs. My father was wont to do stuff like that, and would then bread and fry fish or chicken cutlets in weird melanges of dry baked goods/breadcrumbs.
He used to coat fillet of sole in crushed Ritz crackers, for example. Still does, actually.
Or - my father would often bake chicken pieces after coating them in a combo of breadcrumbs and ....crushed potato chips. That is really tasty.

And that is a great idea about the crackers, because I would like to use them up before they turn stale!
