Oh, I should have made it more clear. The URL is bad because I added the **/ **/ to it.
This: http://pics.livejournal.com/verbicide/pic/0000p40c/ works fine as an in-line image tag. But what it adds when I post by phone is: /s320x240/ and that works fine as a link, but not as an in-line image.
I may have, in my general spazziness, deleted that particular image. I can't remember. I thought it was working for me this morning. A few entries back is a link to an image, and that was also working this morning.
I know I've seen people post cell images to their journal, maybe they are running home and editing them, but I don't think so. Mrh.
Oh, and, incidentally, what I use to post photos directly from my phone to LJ is Flickr, which has a feature specifically for that. I haven't looked into LiveJournal's system for that.

Maddening.

Date: 2006-09-29 05:35 pm (UTC)Incidentally, http://pics.livejournal.com/verbicide/pic/0000p40c/s320x240/ doesn't work for me, even as a link. (My theory was going to be that the inline didn't like it because that's a link to a full page, not an image.)

Date: 2006-09-29 08:57 pm (UTC)Hrm. So from my understanding, Flickr is free. You've found that pretty easy? Do you just send the photo from your phone via an e-mail address?
