I voted a couple of weeks ago, absentee.
YAY for taking the House back, but motherfucker, I'm growing an ulcer waiting for the Senate results to be done. I know it's not looking good, but it's still possible, right?
After the past 6 years of being held hostage by this regime, I just want both of 'em, dammit.

Date: 2006-11-08 04:10 pm (UTC)I still can't fucking believe that insane gay marriage amendment passed. The urban bits of VA that make up 70% of the population aren't generally this stupid. For fuck's sake, Fairfax County of all places passed it 55:45. I expected better of my fellow urbanites in the Commonwealth.

Date: 2006-11-08 04:16 pm (UTC)And yeah, I don't understand how VA expects to inspire any bright new blood to their state (as employees, students, whatever) with such absurd laws. It is a downright offensive thing they did there.
