Jesus.
So, I'm finally catching up on Battlestar Galatica. And, wow. Um. Wow.
It's funny, because I've liked the show and thought it was excellent, but hadn't quite gotten hooked. Jeff, I would like to share, wants to marry the show. And the raving is like nothing I've seen coming from his normally very moderate-self. But, I decided to try again, and what I finally concluded was that the reason I wasn't crazy about the show was because it didn't have much humor. Not that I don't like grim. I love Deadwood and I worship Firefly, but they both had some humor, especially Firefly. But now, on disc three of the second season, I feel pretty fucking hooked.
Just watching the episode, Pegasus. Where Adm. Cain makes contact and takes over. Watching the Pegasus crew talk about taking turns with the cylon-captives, and seeing Six-the-Hostage makes me physically sick. And watching the near-rape of Boomer with the subsequent homicide of the 'cylon-interrogator' was pretty fucking intense.
Um. Yes. Very hooked now. And, as always when watching a dvd-series, it's very fucking exciting to not have to wait week-by-week for the next episode. AND, just as I type this, I realize that the three discs I have currently from Netflix is only 2.0, which ends with a cliff-hanger. AARRRRGH.

Oh, and by the way, what a cliffhanger is it is. Mind-blowing. Earth-shattering. Gob-smacking.
(p.s. I loves me the new spell-check feature in the Google toolbar)
