It's stopped now, but while it was dumping from the sky, Sarah and I squee'd at each other on the phone the entire time.

Not the best photograph, but it gets the message across.

Now if it would just stay fluffy and not turn to sheets of ice!

Wow, pretty. I do love photos of snow falling. (Being in it, not so much.)

Seattle shut down for that?

That's only 2" or so.

Don't make me dig out my pics of the 1.5' (two days of solid snowfall, 10" the first day, 8" the second) we were buried under back in Feb 2k3.

Of course, the upper midwesterners and norther plains folks will then proceed to laugh at us for our meager foot and a half.

You should go out and make snowmen! Nice pic...you'd see nothing nearly as interesting from my window.

I LOVE that photo! I need to get some of your pics printed! I'll pay for it.

I wish we had snow here... it's so pretty (until your car slides off the road, that is).

HAW! Yeah, not so fun (although, really, of all possible accidents? That was probably one of the better ones)

Thank you! :D

I think even being in it is still such a novelty (and rarity) out here, that it's still fun. There were kids and adults alike running up and down the street last night, building snowmen! So cute!

You. All of you out there in the great white tundras of the U.S. can just hush!

We only have like two snow plows for the whole county or something!

(And really, this isn't what shut the city down, it's the two days prior of black ice coated slick roads on steep hills that has caused most of the problems.)

I wish I could have captured a picture of it --there were people across the street building one! It was the cutest thing ever!

What's very tragic here is that I thought you were talking about my photo, and I was totally confused and responding as such. Then I clicked on Ben's and the light, she went on!

And yes --that is a gorgeous picture!!

EEEk! I thought that may confuse someone. I love your photo, too! Is Seattle usually so snowy this time of year?

It was really funny. Because, I mean, I'm not that vain and my picture was fun for me, but it's not an actual 'good' photo -and that doesn't bother me at all. So really, for what it's worth, I thought you were a little crazy *grin* (sweet, but crazy).

Seattle almost never gets snow!

As about the most anti-snow person I know, I have to say that I did enjoy last night's powdery hush, while it lasted. Of course, I was watching from the relative warmth of my apartment.

I was mildly disappointed that there wasn't any powder left to look at, this morning. On the other hand, I'm really relieved that the temperature has finally climbed above freezing. I was not lovin' the past few days ...

That's right--you are Mr. Hot Weather, from what I recall.

I much prefer cold to heat, but I've been glad to see it warm up finally!
