I think even being in it is still such a novelty (and rarity) out here, that it's still fun. There were kids and adults alike running up and down the street last night, building snowmen! So cute!
You. All of you out there in the great white tundras of the U.S. can just hush!
We only have like two snow plows for the whole county or something!
(And really, this isn't what shut the city down, it's the two days prior of black ice coated slick roads on steep hills that has caused most of the problems.)
What's very tragic here is that I thought you were talking about my photo, and I was totally confused and responding as such. Then I clicked on Ben's and the light, she went on!
It was really funny. Because, I mean, I'm not that vain and my picture was fun for me, but it's not an actual 'good' photo -and that doesn't bother me at all. So really, for what it's worth, I thought you were a little crazy *grin* (sweet, but crazy).
As about the most anti-snow person I know, I have to say that I did enjoy last night's powdery hush, while it lasted. Of course, I was watching from the relative warmth of my apartment.
I was mildly disappointed that there wasn't any powder left to look at, this morning. On the other hand, I'm really relieved that the temperature has finally climbed above freezing. I was not lovin' the past few days ...

Date: 2006-11-30 12:46 pm (UTC)That's only 2" or so.
Don't make me dig out my pics of the 1.5' (two days of solid snowfall, 10" the first day, 8" the second) we were buried under back in Feb 2k3.
Of course, the upper midwesterners and norther plains folks will then proceed to laugh at us for our meager foot and a half.
