o colin, my colin
Mar. 7th, 2004 12:53 amAfter my all-nighter, for which I am definitely too old, I came home from class, woozily watched some Jeff Corwin thing, because absolutely nothing else was on tv that didn't suck, and then passed out, and remarkably did not dream of hissing crocodiles. I woke up disoriented and peered at the clock. It was 11pm. This lends me evidence towards a benevolent god, despite my atheistic tendencies. I didn't miss SNL!
Now, I haven't watched SNL in years. Maybe just snippets of Fallon and Fey, but even that's rare. The huge draw tonight of course was the man of my dreams and future husband, Colin Firth. I'm trying to think of something to write that isn't utterly insensible, but um, yeah. I swooned so hard I fell off the couch. Purrr. I am such an accent whore.
Although it was very hard to come out of my lust-suffused-stupor, I should note that I loved the guy who played Bill Clinton. He was actually funny, "I'll put the vice back into Vice President!" Hee.
Ok, as cute as this Edwards/Kerry thing is--it's time away from Colin, which is not ok. Dammit! They're not using Colin enough. But I suppose I'm a bit biased. God, he's so tall. And gorgeous. And ok, I have to stop writing before I drool on my keyboard. He does look really good in jeans and a button down, though. Okok...off to take a cold shower now.
Heh. Right after SNL there was a thing for Christian Faith Center. Is it bad that I thought it was another SNL skit?

Date: 2004-03-07 08:28 am (UTC)Irish is nice, too. And Scottish. And some flavors of Southern (especially Texas and Louisiana). And most of eastern Europe, especially Hungary. (Guess where I'm going in a couple of weeks? I won't understand a word of what anyone's saying, but I'll be enjoying the not understanding it!)
