Mowr. So somehow in yoga last night, I sprained my damn foot. I was being so careful to ground myself on my full foot, and not put my weight on my toes, and yet somehow something went wrong and my foot is killing me, particularly if I flex my big toe.

Last night was pretty miserable. I would accidentally extend my toe and pain would scream up my leg. I couldn't get comfortable to sleep all night, until I finally popped a vicodin at 4AM. Nice to have that unused prescription from the corneal abrasion. I don't have a tendency to take anything beyond advil, let alone prescription stuff, so it really knocked me out.

Hobbsie was sort of amazing last night. He clearly knew that his human was broken, and he protectively curled himself around my head and did his best to heal through the Power of Purr. He stayed up with me all night and every time I turned over, he moved to the other side to nuzzle my face. It was touching. It continues to blow me away how sensitive they are.

I drove into work this morning, cursing my stick shift. I thought I was going to either pass out or throw up, but made it to my office and applied my Boo Boo Buddy. I brought the vicodin just in case, but I don't think being stoned at work is such a good idea. Should really just save that for bedtime.

My biggest concern for tonight is getting to Whole Foods and buying cat food, because I'm totally out. Mrh.

I definitely would, but it's better already, and I'm being careful with it.

It's actually weird that it's so much better considering how bad it felt last night.
