Haven't read it but wow, sounds like a great read. str8ontilmornin says he's heard about it, though, and it's been on his library list. Definitely inspiration to take things even further than we already have. Thanks for the heads up!

In a similar vein, did I tell you about The Future of Food? It's a documentary about genetically-modified food and sustainability and it absolutely changed our life and how we eat. Eye-opening and chilling -- we'd already been on the road to local, sustainable, organic food and str8ontilmornin was already pretty knowledgeable on those two topics anyway, but after that movie, we officially made the switch to organics. If you have Netflix, they have it if you ever want to see it.
