Polar fleece pants are the most worshipful creation in the known universe.

Coming home and diving into them at the end of the day makes winter survivable! Which speaking of, holy fuck it's cold. And dark. And omg cold. Did I mention the bone chilling sub-artic weather. (Shut up everyone East of GetsColderThanWhereIAm.)

I've started to remember long sleeved shirts and jackets. I got my gloves out today, but left them on the bed. That was useful.

I was too lazy to go get tacos even though I NEEDED THEM. So I will politely eat my leftovers and watch the joy of Wednesday night tv. (Pushing Daisies, whoop!)

Hobbsie is also not impressed with the weather or my skinflinty-60-degrees-is-plenty-warm ways!

I'm with you--that s--t is coooooold up there! I wasn't even as far north as you last weekend (just Portland), and that was plenty cold for me. Specially after "sunset" (which is the lengthy period of darker grey after a few hours of lighter grey, the "day").

Yeah, I know I grew up in a place with real winters. Yeah, I know that a T-shirt, jacket, and jeans was what I wore in 50-degree weather. But I left there, and am very glad to have done so!!

When I was very young, I lived in Chicago. So I know bad winters, too! (Albeit, only as a toddler, but I still remember!) And it's pretty sad to see how fast it gets dark here now. It's worth it for the summer light, though!

*shiver* It just needs to be summer longer!

I will refrain from making any kind of remarks about your fortitude or lack thereof regarding the "cold" -- (okay, except to say two key words: FORTY. BELOW.) -- and just agree with you that polar fleece is knitted of love and kitten fur (after the kittens are done with it, of course), and also Pushing Daisies should warm you with its sweet fires of adorableness and the inherent hotness of LEE PACE SO FUCKING HAWT OMG.

I appreciate your restraint (I still refuse to acknowledge that there exists a temperature that is called FORTY BELOW!).

I ended up reading by the fire with my kitty and saved the Lee Pace hotness for tonight. I can't wait! Why, why is there such cuteness? WHY??

NO TACO BELL! SO SAD!!

I LOVE fleece pants! I have two pairs, both from Old navy so they're not the highest quality, but I LOVE THEM!!!

(I'm not mocking - how cold IS it out there? I have no concept of your weather!)

There will be Taco Bell tonight, though! Dammit!

And my polar fleece is from Old Navy, too! And I totally totally LOVE this pair. must buy more!

It gets as low as like 18 or 20 in the coldest times, I think. Right now it's probably around the high 30s. Which, is hypothermia inducing, dammit!!!

They're projecting snow for this weekend, but I don't believe 'em!
