I'm actually sort of sad. Not only that the season's over, but that the finale didn't knock my socks off. I've been so goddamn obsessed with the show for awhile now that it was sort of a letdown.



So. The things I didn't like:

- Jim's opening prank on Dwight. I know Dwight is a total pain, but that one seemed more annoying than funny.
- Michael getting so close to behaving like a human, and then going back to Jan.
- Jan. I can't believe how unbelievably shitty she is to Michael. Barf.
- I hated, hated, hated seeing Pam look so sad and for Jim's great fireworksy moment ruined.
- And maybe it wouldn't have been true to Office form, but I hated that they didn't just let us have the happy engagement moment for PB&J

Though, on reflection. I sort of wish they hadn't jumped to marriage so fast. I know he's loved her FOREVER, but it'd be nice to just enjoy their dating fun for now.


Things I did like:

- The fact that Jim is so supportive of Pam's 3 months in NY. How awesome are they.
- Dwight and Angela 4EVER
- Phyllis and Bob Vance of Vance Refridgeration watching fireworks and smooching. Yay!
- Kevin, the 'special' employee

I'm sorry you felt let down. I know how disappointing that can be when you've been so looking forward to something (and mainlining a show sure is a way to build up that anticipation). :(

I LOVED Bob and Phyllis, too!!! That little moment, when everyone spills out into the parking lot and sees what Phyllis has set up, Bob is standing there in the middle of the parking lot and something about that, that he helped her set it up and was "manning the fort" so to speak, on her behalf...well, I pretty much fell in love with them again times a billion. Phyllis and Bob Vance Vance Refrigeration.

And I got over it. I was just so crushed to see Pam so crushed and to see Jim thwarted. I HATE WHEN THE WRITERS THWART JIM!

But can't freaking wait for next season!
