Up to elbows in baking. It's AWESOME. I made the cranberry shortbread. I need better baking pans--and more of them, dammit. The orange/hazelnut is next to go in and I've got all the prepwork done for the cherry chocolate crumb bars. I forgot the gingersnaps for the ginger cheesecake bars, but Pete has kindly agreed to pick them up for me. I can save some of this baking for tomorrow night (and I might have to) but it'd be great to come home tomorrow night and just be ready to assemble everything into the bags!

It's sort of like the craziness of Christmas! But lower production because it's only 50 individual item instead of like 20 boxes of 6 varieties of cookies!

That didn't sound know-it-allish at all, and it so happens that I love our local restaurant supply store, but I only learned about it recently and would have loved that information earlier.

I didn't know about the online place and know my next paycheck is in desperate peril.
