It's oddly fun!

This is a cool new take on the 100 books/songs/destinations idea! I like it.

Of course, as ridiculously picky as I am, there are SEVEN things on this list that I have eaten at least one bite of. :) And I only took a taste of 3 and would never actually consume a serving of them...

(Edit : whoops, I overlooked one. There's actually 8. So only 92% of it haven't I touched. Heh.)

That is so funny! What were the 8 things? PB&J for one, right? :)

I'm too lazy to count up my list, but there were a lot of things I had never heard of!

Yep, that was one!

It'd almost be fun to make people who know me try to guess. ;) Because a couple are probably surprising. I counted mostly because for me it was pretty easy.

Calamari, fresh wild raspberries, durian, pistachio ice cream, spaetzle, root beer float, and Krispy Kreme.

Only the raspberries and the root beer float are something I'd happily eat regularly now (plain peanut butter sandwiches are OK, but I don't like the jelly anymore). Krispy Kremes and durian are decent but not worth going nuts over, and the rest I took one bite and made horrible faces and won't try again.

My dad loves durian, but I thought it was horrifying!

And I really want a root beer float right NOW.

You totally should make one when you get home! Even if you have to stop and buy ice cream and root beer. :)

I think I may have to do that! :D

Fun! To explain some of my weird responses before I bother giving them: I keep kosher (so I'll cross out everything that's not kosher, which I think will be a lot of things - I'm actually not that picky), but I didn't start keeping kosher until I was 14, so I'll bold everything I tried - which means that some things might be bold and crossed out.

Yep, it did make me look picky. The only things that I would definitely not eat, even if I didn't keep kosher, would be chitterlings, head cheese, haggis, and road kill. And probably insects.

So you are probably (in reality) less picky than me!

Oh, I went back and looked at yours, and I wouldn't eat blood pudding or sweetbreads, either. Ick.

Yeah. I dated a guy whose English grandmother visited and made blood pudding one time. That's just not ... food.
