I'm sorry. I've fucking actively tried to like James Bond. I started borrowing them all from this guy at my last job and grimly sat down to watch them in order. And maybe a few of the Sean Connery ones were okay. But fucking hell. FINE. I confess! They bore the shit out of me! Okay? I'm sorry! I'm less of a person. I don't like James Bond movies! I don't care how many bikini-clad babes Bond bangs. Or how many buildings he cleverly leaps out of while they explode. Or how fast his car goes. Or, or any of it!
I JUST DON'T CARE!!
They're pedestrian and they're all the same and they're not FUN!!
Give me Clive Owen's The Driver any day over Bond. (please, please give him to me; I'll keep him fed and watered and um petted, etc, I promise).
And as much of a Colin Firth fan I am, I still refused to see him whore himself out in a headband in that travesty of a movie, What A Girl Wants (or whatthefuckever it was). But, I think I would be forced to watch him as James Bond. And I would die a little. Wahh!!! *sobs, beats breasts, etc*

He doesn't have that slightly smarmy "cool" thing that Bond is supposed to have. He's too normal and everyman. Bah. I hope they don't do that.
Not that I've bothered to watch a Bond movie since The World is Not Enough anyway. God that was bad. It pretty much killed my interest in any new Bond movie that might be made.
