squandering the sunshine
Apr. 10th, 2004 04:51 pmIt's sooo pretty out. And where am I? I am IN.
Doing laundry, piecing Ellie's quilt. Thinking about working on my damn Info Plan for Tuesday's class. It's been a decadent weekend. Sleeping in as late as I want, despite the efforts of damn telemarketers. Getting up when I damn well please. Swaning about, accomplishing nothing. Mmmm lazy weekends.
Feeling far less stressed about the things that were driving me crazy. Figuring that things will, after all, work out. I may not know how they'll work out, but I realize that they will. I'm not sure if this means I'm completely departing from reality into delusion, but welcome the respite from overthinking anyhow.
Must sign up for resume workshop as am incapable of doing this on my own. Jan's second part writing workshop is coming up on Wednesday, and I'm excited as all fuck about that. The woman rules.
Ok. Should get back to doing something, anything. What I want to do is stroll down Market Street and grab an iced chai and read some Neil Simon. Mmmm maybe later.
