I wasn't showing off! I was trying to be very careful! With the knives I just had sharpened after my last scolding ;D

Oh, now that is a very lovely bandage!! And may I just say, OUCH. I'm glad Media was there for you. It's nice having someone else there. Especially someone who will haul you to the ER when you just want to keep cutting your onions.

(And I'm really glad your foot was ultimately okay, and that it wasn't worse.)

It really didn't hurt that much. Mostly impact, and then pressure and ice kept the hurting down. And then anaesthetic, of course.

Two stitches and a small scar. All in all, about the best I could have hoped for.

Awww, Cozzie! And that's good. We had our own minor miracle--the ER was totally empty when we got there. From injury to discharge it took about an hour. So no complaints from me, either!
