Don't worry Dev, there are no spoilers here.

God, I Strangers in Paradise.

From Volume III, Issue 60.

In every heart there is a room
A sanctuary safe and strong
To heal the wounds from lovers past
Until a new one comes along

I spoke to you in cautious tones
You answered me with no pretense
And still I feel I said too much
My silence is my self-defense

And every time I've held a rose
It seems I only felt the thorns
And so it goes, and so it goes
And so will you soon I suppose

But if my silence made you leave
Then that would be my worst mistake
So I will share this room with you
And you can have this heart to break

And this is why my eyes are closed
It's just as well for all I've seen
And so it goes, and so it goes
And you're the only one who knows

So I would choose to be with you
That's if the choice were mine to make
But you can make decisions, too
And you can have this heart to break

And so it goes, and so it goes
And you're the only one who knows

Devin's not the only one you should be concerned about. I too am woefully out-of-date. Sad, I know.

True. But since you're not reading it anymore, I didn't think about warning you!

Mowr. Think you'll ever catch up?

It's possible, assuming I either buy or borrow whatever I've missed. [livejournal.com profile] brabble?

Oh you should. You should. I don't know where you left off, so I can't comment safely. But I am, as ever I was, enchanted with it.

Catch up! Catch up!

How're you, btw? How's the house, the dogs and the woman? :)

IIRC, it was right around when -- err, I probably shouldn't say that, since I don't know where other people are in the series.

But I am, as ever I was, enchanted with it.

*blink* I really can't remember, was it [livejournal.com profile] pinkminx -> [livejournal.com profile] brabble -> you? Or do I have the order wrong? I seem to recall having enabled [livejournal.com profile] brabble to get hooked on SiP.

Catch up! Catch up!

Mustard.

How're you, btw?

Tired. Very tired.

How's the house,

Still standing, despite the rough weather over the weekend. :-)

the dogs

Loads of trouble.

and the woman?

Simply enchanting. :-D

I know only that it was [livejournal.com profile] brabble -> me.

Mustard.

You say that with such relish.

Still standing, despite the rough weather over the weekend.

Pictures soon? *hopeful*

Simply enchanting.

My memory of the issue is that [livejournal.com profile] pinkminx wanted [livejournal.com profile] brabble to read it, and I conveniently had a copy of (at the time) just about every issue, as well as the TPBs. Unfortunately I lost my entire collection (including Molly and Poo, damnit!) when I got evicted back in '99. *sigh*

Pictures soon? *hopeful*

Easier now that we A) live there and B) own a digital camera.

For me, basically, [livejournal.com profile] brabble (as always) had to beat me into looking at it. She scanned the first few pages of the first issue and really, that's all it took. 20 minutes later I had located a comic book shop and was on my way to buy all the TPB in existence. And then the indies.

I know you lost your collection--that's HORRIBLE (as I'm sure was being evicted) :(

Dude. I so can't wait for you to be caught up and share the misery of waiting 6-weeks for each new installment!

I love Old Katchoo, too!!

I'm getting there. But what is UP with Old Francine's hair? I don't know. And "Koo"? Come on! Did you feel the same way?

Oh man. That's the issue you're on. Yeah. I can't say anything. Just keep reading and I promise we will have a massive bitch-fest about 'Koo' later on.
