tickled pink
Apr. 22nd, 2004 03:59 pmAccording to PANTONEcolorstrology, I am Slate Rose - 18-1635.

What does this mean? Well, based on my birth date, they figure that I am "Penetrating, Unusual and Independent" Sounds fairly typical for a Scorpio, non?
"There is something unusual or exotic in your manner. You are definitely not a run of-the-mill type of person. Your inner world is deep and mysterious. It may be hard to get to know you as you keep much of what you feel to yourself. That is not to say that you will not fight for a cause and speak your mind. It is just that who you truly are is only perceived by a select and special few. Slate Rose helps stabilize your feelings. Wearing or surrounding yourself with this color helps you move through life with trust and freedom."

Huh. Hilarious. Judy's always trying to coax me into girly pink things while I kick, claw, and hiss from my bruised hues of blue, black, gray and more black.
Have had a glorious day so far. It's so beautiful outside that it's ridiculous. Love being able to open the windows and get some fresh air in here. Almost chickened out of the leg waxing this morning, but decided I should just DO it already. It wasn't unbearable, but motherfuck are the inner thighs a tender area. I now own the smoothest thighs in the west, which is very exciting. I keep having to furtively rub them. Is that wrong?
Judy picked me up shortly afterwards to meet Meghan for lunch. Meghan & Greg are this wonderful couple Judy & John met in Spain last summer. Funnily enough, Meghan & Greg were in the process of moving to Seattle from the Bay Area. They are an absolutely fantastic couple and I've been looking forward to getting to know Meghan better. Halfway through lunch, I was in love. She's a simply beautiful person. We talked about our telecommuting jobs, her pregnancy, relocating to Seattle and how Sliding Doors is the ultimate Comfort Movie. I'm looking forward to spending more time with her, because she utterly rules.
Judy and I then did a trip around Greenlake, gleefully catching up on various things. Strolled to Starbucks where everyone in the world was buying some sort of iced beverage. Purrr. Yay Spring!
I actually did manage to straighten up my apartment. Ok, so I didn't vacuum, but really, do I love anyone enough to vacuum?
In other news, realized last season's swimsuit is sadly (sadly?) sagging in the chest and butt. I don't understand why stomach fat has to be so fucking titanium-reinforced and hard to get rid of. Brh. Judy and I were lamenting that our weight loss has come straight from the chest. Can't decide if should buy a new suit now, or wait for more weight loss. Why can't our clothes just shrink with us?
