Xaro Xhoan Daxos is so fucking tiresome. I want him dead.

 

I am about 20% through, and as petulant as ever. I'm not sure if it's me or if GRRM is particularly loquacious in this book. Pages pass and nothing of importance seems to happen.

 

Dany is frustrated in Meereen. Tyrion is on some boat with new people I don't care about yet.

 

Davos is desperately trying to help Stannis and I'm scared he's going to die.

 

Bran just found the children of the forest and they're weird. Jon Snow is lonely.

 

Oh. And horrible Ramsay Snow has been torturing the fuck out of Theon. I may hate Theon for his betrayal, but I hate torture more. A fact I realized while watching a rental movie called Hard Candy.

 

Just HUMBUG. Determined to finish, though.
