Judy called around 1 to say they'd just gotten home from their run and she was going to pick me up for our adventures today. So I said, "Yay! Ok, so you'll be here in 15-20?" And she laughed and said, "Um no. More like 45." WTF, over?

I was perplexed. She said that Jeanne still needed to shower, dress and apply her makeup carefully. Jeanne, by the way, is yet another one of our friends who we've seduced into moving to Seattle (hear that brabble? do you HEAR THAT?!??!).

It takes me 4 minutes to get dressed. 11 if a shower is involved. Huh.

Wtf even is there to do that takes 45 minutes? It's just lunch and shopping, not the fucking prom. Too funny.

Oooo she just called. They're en route. Whoop.

Off to Todai for more sushi than the human body can consume in one sitting. Or as their tagline says: The Mother of all Seafood Buffets. Mmmm shrimp. Must restrain self from wearing track pants with elastic band as is tacky and also the three inches these cargo pants have to spare should be sufficient.
