Nov. 30th, 2003 10:42 pmSo finished the first 50 pages of Hotel New Hampshire. It's pretty interesting so far. The account of the bear upset me a bit. I hate the thought of wild animals forced to live outside of nature.
The next two weeks are going to be busy. Big projects to finish up for school. I'd like to join the Ballard pool and get back to swimming. I can't believe this school term is almost over. How is that possible? I moved here in such a crazy flurry of activity back in September. I feel like I've been here five minutes going on forever. How is that possible?
It'll be so nice to visit home. Hard without Hobbes, of course, but Ellie will take good care of him. I always feel a bit like Maggie from Peter's Friends, which I am the only person in the known universe to have seen, apparently.
It's been such a nice long weekend, I feel almost ready to take on work tomorrow morning, instead of sniveling: it's too soon, too soon!
I may actually get to bed at a decent hour, and wake up early to work out.
