Hobbes is starving to death. Even though he has a full bowl of dry kibble. Even though he appears to be well fed and healthy and not at all Nicole-Kidman-like. He is STARVING. And yet the world remains deaf to his pitiful cries. And me? I'm a heartless, soulless, evil wench who wants to starve him for sick entertainment and won't feed him his quarter can of wet food.
He's flopped out on the desk now. Too weak to move any further. Occasionally raising his head to let out a weak meow. Can you hear the crescendo of the orchestra? The sound of angels weeping?
