Okay. This Handwriting Wizard thing is fucking freaky. No, seriously. And because it's not based on introspective questions, but how you cross your Ts, it's all the more freaky.

Mine was dead-on accurate. I actually stood up and ran around the room for awhile after reading it. And 99% of it is too personal to post, because hi, I post enough of my neurotic shit on here.

But here's a brief sample. )

Anyhow. Go do it! Go do it! It's fucking FASCINATING! And I didn't even share all the scary, personal stuff it said about me, cause neener you don't need to know!

Got up early to work because I had a phone interview with the Company I Would Kill To Work For this afternoon. Even though the position isn't a perfect match, I was orgasmic at getting the interview.

Work was fine. Actually, better than fine because they've been frantically trying to find ways to use my exciting certification that they didn't have to pay for. So I'm editing a giant manual and I'm excited to keep those skills perky.

Hyperventilated for 20 minutes about the interview while Sarah made soothing comments and promises of ice cream after. The guy who called me was wonderful. Very down to earth and human and not at all HR-Robotic. We talked about the skills I had and the software coding experience I don't have. I was pretty direct about it, because as I told him, I don't want to get hired for a job I can't actually do. He was very effusive about the experience I do have. I never think of it as impressive, because it's just my life and the shit I did. But that's the one nice thing about this job search. Hearing all the praise for my varied technical skills. Would be even nicer if those skills landed me a cushy job, eh?

More! More! More! )
