kill me now
May. 24th, 2004 10:24 pmSeriously don't want to do the stupid user guide. But I have to. Wah!
Must. Start. NOW.
Which is why I'm dithering on LJ, naturally.
Ok. Will do the reporting section tonight. Vendor crap tomorrow and product list on Wednesday.
Baby steps. If I take baby steps I can make it through the next two weeks, right?
Ellie was an angel and edited my craptastic resume and made it look decent. I have to do some work on it (after school is fucking over with) and send it back to her for a final bit of polish before commencing with the job search. Would rather have rectal surgery than look for work, but that wasn't offered as an option.
Doing the volunteer tech editing has been interesting. Just submitted my third piece and felt much more confident about it. Have gotten good feedback on it. I find it much easier to edit other work than revise my own. This was a bit of a surprising discovery as I always thought I'd prefer writing/revising to editing. Huh.

and any other PS2 games you want to play while here.
And maybe some suggestions from Dan in case ADD hits and you're dying to rent something.
Of course if we get SNES to work, it'll be exciting to see if we do anything but sit 3 feet from the tv and order in pizza.
Have I mentioned how utterly fucking excited I am that you're coming? *grin* I actually made headway on the fucking User Guide last night in your honor.
And now I have a burning desire to do nothing but play Zelda. I think that remains my favorite of all time.

Date: 2004-05-26 07:47 pm (UTC)If that SNES works we're going to bore the hell out of everyone we're supposed to hang out with this weekend. Will ask Dan about games. (Do you see why I NEED that BPTeen rocker chair thingie? Perfect video game seat.)
*fastforwards to Friday*

And uh yeah. If SNES works...we'll be at our ultimate unsociableness. We'll have to tear ourselves away for a few meals here and there.
Oh. I need to buy booze. Lots of it. Oh fuck it. We'll go to the store on our way home that night and get the party started.
And I'm not over the fact that it's called BPTeen. *mentally rewinds to when you were 15*
FridayFridayFridayFriday. *chants*
