Never. Ever. EVER book a ticket from Travelocity. Ever.

Trying to cancel our trip to Hawaii has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered. I was on hold and transferred for two hours the day before yesterday. Situation STILL unresolved. Response to a scathing e-mail was a phone call from a clueless rep, more time on hold, and just more incompetence.

Worst customer service I have ever seen from a company. Even the managers are completely incompetent. It's staggering, actually. It's a sad comment that they are able to stay in business by the sheer luck that sometimes things don't go wrong and customers have no idea how awful they are.

Wow. What a horrifyingly awful experience! And I'm doubly disappointed because my own (admittedly limited) experiences with Travelocity have be great. Although the last time I used them was 4 years ago...I wonder if they've taken the Amazon route, i.e., a once-great customer service company whom I loved possibly more than my favorite pair of shoes that's now taken a headfirst dive into the Toilet of Absolute Craptacularness.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up and sorry you've been put through the wringer. Guess I won't be using them again.

I've used them for years and their support (before being shunted off to India) was actually decent. But now, it's sort of surreal how bad it is. It's like a parody of bad customer support.

Geez, as if you needed more stress. I never use Travelocity, and this certainly doesn't encourage me to do so in the future!

Yikes! How awful! There really are few things more frustrating than dealing with incompetent company reps.

For whatever it's worth, I think sidebernie usually uses Orbitz for our travel arrangements, and has been reasonably happy with them.

Funnily enough, I had lunch with some friends today that were just telling me how good their experience with Orbitiz was!

I don't blame you one bit. You have every right to be angry!

It's good to know that others had good experiences with Orbitz, too--it makes it less likely that our good experience was just a fluke!
